Sea Changed
is a moving account of Kate Nicholas’ unconventional faith journey and her search for truth, peace and
healing. Kate wrote Sea Changed initially as a legacy for her children, after being diagnosed with advanced inoperable
breast advanced cancer. She wanted them to know just how much God loved her and had stood by her throughout her
life, even as she faced potentially leaving them. But in her darkest hour, Kate experienced a peace and healing beyond
understanding and Sea Changed has now become a platform for her ministry of hope.
Kate’s journey to faith was not a straightforward one, and her message provides assurance that the path to God does
not always follow a straight line, and that God can be found in unexpected places; from rural England to some of the
toughest places on the planet, in the secular buzz of the media newsroom and the world of public relations, and even in
facing one’s own mortality.
Sea Changed
is for anyone that has ever felt that they have been looking for God in all the wrong places, or struggled to
find him in the face of adversity, and will encourage readers at any stage of their faith journey to recognise the unseen
hand that shifts our perspective, alters our trajectory or lifts us up even in our darkest moments.
‘Kate’s story is a remarkable testimony to the grace of God. The reader is left with a powerful sense of the wonder of God
and a longing to discover a new level of the presence and touch of Jesus.’
